Morte no Morro da Cruz é um filme de longa metragem em pré-produção escrito e dirigido por Merly Costa. Este filme conta a saga de uma escritora, Agatha, que esta tendo um bloqueio criativo enquanto tenta escrever seu próximo livro. Fantasmas do passado e insegurança pessoal contribuem para a atual crise da escritora. Agatha revisita lugares esquecidos em sua consciência e começa a estudar sobre o tema do livro que quer escrever. Com a ajuda de Ricardo e o apoio de Beatriz, Agatha redescobre Florianópolis dos anos 50, seus ídolos e sua alegria de viver.
O elenco contará com a participação de atores de renome nacional e internacional.
Como pano de fundo abordaremos temas referentes as dificuldades que as mulheres encontram ao lidar com disturbios hormonais e de relacionamentos pessoais.
Este filme será produzido e filmado em Florianópolis, Santa Catarina entre Setembro e Outubro de 2012. Buscamos apoio e patrocinadores.

I'm in France arrived in Nice yesterday. I got my badge for the festival and although I knew it would be awesome, it promises to be even better. The staff in the festival is very nice and helpful. I might be able to be in the premier of Robin Hood but I will see that tomorrow. I will walk on the red carpet for sure sometime during the festival.

It's been great to be in the big apple. Today I watched Mamma Mia, the musical. It was ok. Funny. But I expected more from the singers and more dance.

The weather is great and warmer than I expected. Walking around town is my favorite thing to do. I also like to observe people. And man there are lots of them (from all over the globe). Lots of people speaking Spanish, French and Portuguese.

Tomorrow I'm going to Paris but I can't wait to go to Cannes to participate in my first festival as a director.

We are in production for this short fictional film about two healers who live in a fishing community in Florianopolis, Brazil. Mother, 42, is a community leader whose healing powers are respected and amply used by the fishermen and their families. She uses natural herbs within potions and recites ritual words to cure. She has a beautiful, 17 year old daughter, Maria, who as her apprentice soon finds the power to cure through love.

Since Witches is an independent, low-budget film, the majority of our funding is provided by private investors. Money of course is the most pliable of donations, but there are also many other resources we would be extremely grateful to have access to. Some examples of donations toward this ﬁlm are: HD cameras, lighting equipment, Mac computers and software, camera dolly, CF cards, and others.
